Athena is a gentle, loving girl who is looking for a new place to call home. She was sadly surrendered when a child in her family developed allergies, but through it all, Athena has remained sweet, calm, and ready to give her heart to someone new.

She is wonderful in the home and has excellent manners. Athena is fully potty trained, well behaved indoors, and great with kids. She has an easygoing personality and loves being close to her people, making her a wonderful family companion.

Athena is also cat friendly and has done well with other dogs. Since she originally came from a one dog household, she can sometimes show a more dominant personality around bones or high value items. She is extremely dog friendly overall but would do best with a family that understands proper dog introductions and thoughtful integration between pets to help everyone adjust successfully.

Athena is in good overall health. She is currently working on losing a few extra pounds and healing some skin allergies, but with proper care and a healthy routine, she is expected to continue doing very well.

Athena would do best with:

• A family willing to continue supporting her healthy lifestyle and skin care routine
