Fostering a Dog
Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways you can help us save lives. When you foster, you open your home and heart to a dog in need—providing them with a safe, loving environment while they wait for their forever family. Every dog that goes into a foster home makes room in the rescue for another one to be saved.
How Fostering Works
When you sign up to foster, our team will match you with a dog that fits your lifestyle and experience. You’ll care for the dog as if they were your own—providing love, basic training, consistency, and socialization. We’ll keep in touch with you along the way and support you with any questions or needs.
We ask that our fosters:
Provide a safe and caring home environment.
Share photos and updates to help us promote your foster for adoption.
Bring your foster dog to scheduled vet appointments and adoption events.
Communicate with our team about any behavioral or health concerns.
Don’t worry about costs—we provide all the essentials, including food, supplies, and medical care. You simply provide the love and time!
We’re Always Looking for Fosters
Whether you can foster long-term, provide a short stay, or serve as a backup foster or dog sitter during holidays—we need you! Every foster helps us continue rescuing dogs in need, and even temporary care can make a huge difference.
