Ghost’s Story

Ghost was rescued from a shelter in 2024 after being placed on the euthanasia list due to illness. As seen in his before photo, he was severely malnourished and suffering from significant hair loss.

This is why we do what we do. With the help of generous donations and a dedicated foster home, Ghost was given the medical care, nutrition, and love he needed to heal. Today, he is healthy, thriving, and has found his forever home.

Ghost’s transformation is a powerful reminder of how support, compassion, and second chances save lives.

Peach’s Story

When Peach was around six months old, she was hit by a car and faced a long road to recovery. Thanks to timely medical care, dedicated rehabilitation, and the support of a loving foster home, Peach was able to heal and regain her strength.

Today, Peach has made a full recovery. She walks independently, enjoys an active lifestyle, and is living a happy, healthy life. Her journey is a beautiful example of what compassion, commitment, and community support can achieve.

Mateo’s Story

Mateo was found starved, dehydrated, dirty, and chained outside with three other dogs. Despite everything he endured, he remained gentle and full of love.

He spent 101 long days in a shelter, not because he wasn’t amazing, but simply because he came from a rural shelter in North Carolina with fewer resources and less visibility.

Today, Mateo is finally safe, loved, and right where he belongs. His story is a reminder that every dog deserves a second chance—and that the ones who wait the longest often love the hardest. 💛
