Donner is a sweet, affectionate boy who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us from a high-kill shelter in Alabama after being surrendered for chasing deer, but their loss is truly someone else’s gain.

He is an absolute love with people and charms everyone he meets. Donner’s favorite place is right beside you on the couch, soaking up all the snuggles he can get. He is gentle, affectionate, and simply wants to be loved.

Donner does great living in a home and is fully potty trained. He is currently thriving with his foster and his dog brother. While he is not a fan of dog parks, he would do well either as the only dog or with another dog given proper introductions. A fenced yard would be ideal so he can safely enjoy outdoor time.

Donner would do best with:
• A home with a fenced yard
• Being an only dog or living with another dog after proper introductions

Donner is a wonderful companion with very few downsides and a heart full of love. He is ready for a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly part of the family.
