Age: Approximately 4 months

Matcha is a sweet, gentle puppy who came from Alabama with her brother, and she has quickly shown what a loving little soul she is. While she can be shy at first, underneath that timid personality is a very affectionate girl who is learning more every day that the world can be a safe and happy place.

We believe Matcha may be a Lab and Kelpie mix, though that is just our best guess. She is expected to stay around a smaller Lab size once fully grown.

Matcha absolutely loves other dogs and feels most confident when she has a canine companion nearby. She would likely do best in a home with another dog to help continue building her confidence, though with time and patience she may grow comfortable being the only dog as well.

She is currently learning to walk on leash, doing well with potty training, and sleeps through the night like a champ. Matcha recently went to work with her foster and quietly relaxed under the desk for most of the day, showing just how calm and well behaved she can be.

Matcha would do best with:
• A patient family willing to help build her confidence
• A home with another friendly dog
• A calm environment with routine, kindness, and reassurance

Matcha is a shy, sweet girl with so much potential and love to give. She is learning to trust, explore, and enjoy the big world around her, and she is ready for a forever home that will help her continue to blossom.
